Wednesday, December 16, 2020 - This is a rare NV with age. Base year 2008, bottled 2009 and disgorged in 2012. Fine mousse. Intense and fleshy with ripe fruit. Good depth, layered and complex. Compared to young, generic Roederer Brut Premier, this has more weight, more flesh, softer acidity, a more harmonious balance. Quality is perhaps further enhanced by the superlative vintage year.
