Fullish body but not top-heavy, with enough acidity to balance the tannin and substance. Lots of oak and espresso. This is weighty, but may not quite have the effortless sophistication of the best Pichon Comtesse, for which I think one needs to rewind to the 1982 (1996?) or advance to the 2016. 94-95 points
