Saturday, October 31, 2020 - 2009 Les Halos de Jupiter Chateauneuf du Pape. Perfectly mature - teal colour on the rim. Philippe Cambie's Les Halos de Jupiter series are modern wines but with a great respect for the terroir. This is the first I try with this much age and IT is really in a good spot now and I don't think it will evolve much further as it is still somewhat fruit driven. Really appealing and delightful (and deceptively easy to drink) - not a traditional CNdP but a great bottle of wine nonetheless.
