Saturday, August 13, 2016 - I bought a case of this one to "buy the 2010 vintage". This is the first one I've drunk. Decanted 90 minutes before consuming with steak. Dark fruit on nose and palate. Lacks differentiation on palate and finish but some notes of plumb, cassis and black pepper. Good balance. Last glass an hour after dinner was decidedly better than earlier as the finish had softened, lengthened and added more complex dark fruit and earthy notes.
