Saturday, January 11, 2014 - More evidence of Vietti's ill-timed lacuna during the great Barolo vintage run of 1996-2001. You can tell it's Barolo and not much else. Pruny and stillborn on day one; no better on day two. No upper register aromatics, no grip on the palate, nothing singing on the finish: a failure.
