Saturday, August 11, 2012 - Rutherford Grove Winery Tasting - August 2012 (Rutherford, California - Napa Valley): Garnet color with dark fruit, green olive violet and a hint of cacoa aromas. On the palate, it approached medium-bodied with dusty blackberry, cassis and cacao flavors. Medium-long finish. Fruit sourced from Lone Acre Vineyard & Bella Oaks Lane; Rutherford Bench. Aged 20 months in 80% French Oak, 20% American Oak, 60% new, 20% one-year old, 20% two-year old. 14.2% alcohol
