Unbelievably concentrated yet deceptively light, incredibly layered pure red and black fruit, perfect harmony and balance, exceptional purity and finesse, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, and a seamless long pure red and black fruit driven finish with perfume and tea at the end. As great as the 99 RSV is, this is even more memorable, like comparing a great Batard to a great Chevalier, i.e. clearly understate and noble, showing so much without being opulent and loud.
