Monday, October 7, 2013 - Full body red with enticing bouquet of ripe sweet plummy berries, notes of bell pepper, earth notes, rounded with some lactic tones. Palate is challenged with noticeable over-extraction, astringent tannins, and green metallic tones. Finish is dry with some bitters lacking length. This wine is overdone but quite pleasure to whiff. I would wait and hope the tannins go away.
