Saturday, August 13, 2016 - Drank at the Cape with the crew at Atlantic 28. Interesting: I last had this wine nearly 5 years ago and, reviewing my notes from then, it's nearly the same wine as I had then. The wine still drinks fairly young, though the fruit is a bit faded than I had noticed previously, with substantial notes of black pepper and spice. This wine is definitely a modern, non-traditional burg style that is not for everyone (including me). I liked, but didn't love this wine. The wine's best feature was it's lovely nose--very spicy, berry, and fragrant.
