Friday, April 24, 2009 - From Magnum, decanted about an hour before drinking. Very smooth with typical cab fruits, chocolate, a fair amount of anise, a bit of bell pepper, and hints of graphite and tobacco. Going strong about 4 hours after opening, and really sang with lamb chops. I was sad when my glass was finally empty. Outstanding wine that will easily go another decade in magnums.
