Friday, April 30, 2010 - Youthful black cherry, with glints of dark cranberry toward the rim. Nose of very ripe but simple red fruit, with some green elements. Very ripe, pure, beautiful fruit on the palate, a little chocolate. Liqueur-like, with very warm alcohol, verging on harsh. Lovely but still simple and linear, not likely to hold up to its alcohol as it ages.
