97 Points

Monday, April 16, 2012 - This wine was paired with two 100 point Bordeaux, a Colgin and a Dominus in a blind tasting---and more than held its own. The nose was perfectly balanced, the fruit was evident but not too forward. Year in and year out, these are balanced wines with great character. The nose was subdued dark fruit, in the mouth there was still ample, but smooth tannins and great balance. No sense of too much fruit, alcohol or oak. Really did hold up as a well made Cabernet when being compared to the Bordeaux.
