Thursday, February 8, 2007 - Everything I expected. Decanted for 2 hours, consumed at Postino's in Lafayette, CA with friends. Still has plenty of life ahead. Beautiful garnet color. Nose shows all the promise of great cab based wine, oak, tar, tobacco. Very nice mouthfeel, tannins are still solid but not overwhelming. Flavors run the spectrum, dark berries, cassis, tar. Balance is there. Lovely long finish. My last bottle !
