Saturday, December 16, 2006 - Consumed from magnum at 910 Restaurant (Grande Colonial Hotel, La Jolla) as part of my 50th birthday celebration. The magnum was taken from my personal cellar. Although a formal note was not made, it can be said that the wine showed intense black fruit, good structure and was delicious (albeit young). It was well received by the guests and was excellent with the venison and flat iron steak.
