Thursday, August 8, 2013 - AT Kevin D's, last wine of the night for the group. He was very generous with hiss cellar this evening. Went into the cellar and pulled two 750s of this, popped and poured, drank over an hour. Could have used a chance to open up.

Delicious out of the chute, still a little tight. Ripe, dark fruits, mocha, mushrooms, eucalyptus, dark cherries (mid palate), some spice. Mild tannins, starting to resolve.

Very good, although in scheme of Insignia's would rank in the middle of what I have experienced.
