Friday, August 10, 2007 - the cassis and fruit are very evident on the nose, and the palate follows with clarity. Berry notes and a nice hint of licorish and herbs. the palate feel is full and the finish is well balanced. Overall a very nice wine.... which of course brings us to value and price. the very good vintages of insignia are undoubledly really first rate wines and worth 100 plus a bottle. the average vintages (of which this is one) are very fine bottles of wine, but they are a poor value at the price.
