Wednesday, June 26, 2002 - Bright disc with opaque purple robe and purple rim. Clean nose requiring at least 30 minutes to develop. Intense currants, cassis, black cherry, vanilla, cedar and oak. The palate is full-bodied and multilayered, with a vevety texture and ample sweet tannins. The flavors are similar to the nose. Long, smooth finish. Beautiful now but will clearly get better over the next 4-6 years. I would disagree with Parker that this wine will hold until 2032!
