Wednesday, September 26, 2018 - Bottle 10 of our case. Not much change since the last one 15 months ago. I still think it's past it's peak, but still very enjoyable. It still has loads of fruit, some secondary characteristics including tar and leather. Sweet oak with hints of Eucalyptus. Very smooth, tannins resolved. It's just a bit flat to me, and has lost that bit of sizzle/acidity that it use to have. Will try the next one in 2020, as I think it still has 2-5 years at this plateau, don't know, but I still doubt it will improve.
