Friday, September 25, 2020 - Cork was perfect, quick opening, VERY aromatic on the decanter pour, a teaspoon of mild and fine sediment.

Aromatics are still quite lush, though the fruit is somewhat faded, lots of spicy blackberry, mocha, a hint of green acidity.

Palate is weighty with glycerin and residual sugar, very integrated and smooth after nearly 20 years after harvest.

Definitely the best Insignia I've tasted, drink right away, no reason to wait. The tannins are still present but soon will overwhelm remaining fruit.

Excellent
