Sunday, October 18, 2015 - Big nod to the Southern Rhone with this beauty. Nose of dark berries and Herbes de Provence, with a touch of tobacco. Loads of kirsch on the front palate, resolving to plummier fruit flavors and a noteworthy dose of white pepper. Savory notes on the finish. I'd say this is in its ideal drinking window.
