Sunday, November 10, 2019 - I enjoyed this wine much more than other recent folks, perhaps because this really isn't a traditional Rhone and I don't love traditional Rhones? In any case, a few hours in the decanter smooth out the strong notes and make a more refined and integrated (if perhaps a bit less interesting) wine than at first pour. Some of the other notes are pretty spot on, mature berries, spice, and minerals, with pretty good layers.
