Wednesday, February 22, 2012 - This wine is fine--stellar for a CA grenache, but still just fine. Buoyant fruit and vaguely peppery/spice aromas make it seem like it it would go down easy, but it really needed to be paired with food. With dinner this was great--refreshing and even palate cleansing. Nice wine, but not life-changing. Stick with the Zins from the Enfants line.
