Monday, August 15, 2022 - Decanted for 8 hours. This got better with the long decant, as initially it was tart and clenched. Served blind, favorite wine of the flight.
On opening: Pale red color, with very fine sediment. Raspberry spice nose, silky palate with a very clenched tart berry finish.
At tasting: Spice, florals, red fruits on the nose. Lithe palate, saline infused texture, very subtle. Lovely sweetness on the back end of the palate that lingers on the finish.
