Saturday, June 17, 2017 - Consumed this over 3 hours and it never really opened to reveal the fruit I expected from past experience. Medium garnet color. No visual evidence of age. On the palate, more earthy notes of moss, damp leaves, cedar and tobacco. Well integrated tannins with a medium finish. Wondering if this is related to the vintage.
