Sunday, October 8, 2023 - This was a very good wine. We decanted this for about 25 minutes before serving and it opened up beautifully. On the nose it had lots of dark fruit, dark chocolate, and baking spices. There was a bit of a bite on the nose from the alcohol but the palate was very balanced. Fully bodied, easy drinking, and just delicious. I was surprised about how little the alcohol was present on the palate. It was perfectly integrated. There was layers and layers of dark fruit on the palate was perfect. We had this with a steak and it was just perfect. Recommend drinking up soon as I believe this is in its peak drinking window.
