Saturday, February 20, 2016 - Broad and rich with nutty, waxy and oxidative notes. It's not that this isn't fresh, because there's plenty of acidity but it seems to lack a bit of focus and energy. The nose is more interesting than the palate and this kind of falls apart on the finish. Feels very advanced for an '08. Disappointing versus expectations and just okay overall.
