Monday, December 17, 2012 - Holy moly, this was GOOD. My first ever aged chard. Pretty dark gold color, wonderful aromas of honey, nuts, and a great mouthfeel. More honey, almonds, and pears on the palate. Acidity is mostly resolved, but nothing is lacking or out of balance - just fully integrated. As dark as it was, it was still light on it's feet and graceful. It looked viscous, but was really graceful. A joy to drink.
