Thursday, April 29, 2010 - This is drink great right now. It has softened noticeably since the last time I tasted it. Secondary flavors have started to come it. It has a wonderful Burgundy earthiness to it. And it still has very nice fruit. Not surprising for a 2003, this is not classic Volnay, but it is certainly delicious. For me this wine is at peak. I plan to drink up the rest of mine over the next year.
