Saturday, December 22, 2018 - Quite dense, a bit tight even. It opens up and shows classic blackcurrant fruit with lovely cedar and spice. Creamy, with fine grained tannins, it's a very good claret indeed. This does seem a bit closed and austere at moments nontheless. More age perhaps? It certainly didn't show Margaux typicity - I would have guessed St. Julien.
