Monday, February 27, 2023 - Lustau “Solera Reserva’ Fino Jarana Sherry is produced by Emilio Lustau and Bodega Lustau in southern Spain. This medium weight wine is made with 100% Palomino grapes and presents with a brilliant, pale yellow color. In the glass you’ll note that a good swirl will not produce “legs” but will show a strong sheeting action. The alcohol level is pleasant at 15% ABV and this is dry holding only 1g/l of residual sugar. The aromas show lemon curd, buttered popcorn yet slight medicinal notes. The mouthfeel is solid but just shy of weighty and a medium to long finish that nudges toward the essence of walnut oil and almond paste.
