Wednesday, September 28, 2011 - Surprised by the youthful feel to this wine, firm and sturdy tannins, tight, muscular, chewy, chunky. Fruit is restrained and austere, closed. This wine is all about structure and terroir not fruit. This may not sound good to some, but I found it compelling. I thought this wine had reached the early part of its maturity but its not even close. One can only hope this wine integrates with more time.
