Tuesday, May 22, 2012 - This is certainly not your generic white. Medium, clear yellow color. Fairly strong nose for a white wine; this smells like a mixture of grapefruit juice, canteloupe and wet granite. Medium-bodied, lots of citrus, but mostly strong mineral flavors on the palate; think lemonade mixed with gravel. Moderate finish. This wine is crisp and has a high degree of acidity, but it's just not to my taste. Definitely a food wine; not much on its own. Has a tinge of bitterness and seems a bit rough. Could do in a pinch, but I won't be buying more of this.
