Friday, August 14, 2020 - WisconSomm Sommer Camp. Intrigue-ing wine. Deep colored, structured, and even a wall of tannin on the palate, still. This wine could age for 10+ years no problem. By far the most at peak of the 3 Coteaux Champenois we tasted. Rather beefy. Gorgeous fruit, which doesn't remind me of '06, but rather from a riper year. Really nice stuff. Med + body, Med + intensity, Med alcohol, and long finish. Drink with a decant, or slo-ox over a few days, or Hold for 5-7 more years easily.
