Friday, August 6, 2021 - Very ripe, potentially overripe. Dark color, dark-fruited, not obvious Pinot. Develops tannins with air. Tastes like Merlot. Lacks precision and the sharp mark from the soil I usually find in Barthod’s wines. Disappointing. With Johnny and Dorthe at Bout du Monde in Beaune.
