Friday, June 15, 2012 - Epic Boys Trip; 6/13/2012-6/17/2012 (Napa and San Francisco): Clear color. Moderate aromatic intensity with a strong muscadelle element to it (neutral apple fruit) and some SB aromas of green pepper of gooseberry/cat’s pee… no oak/malo. On the palate is quite mild and won’t affend anyone... dry with moderate acidity, a lush midpalate, low etoh. Balanced wine with short length, average intensity, low complexity. Wine has finesse a likeable texture, good expression of place. Average to good wine that does what its supposed to.
