Wednesday, May 9, 2012 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #069; Burgundy: Puligny, Chassagne, Meursault (By RvD): Dark yellow. Creamy bouquet with tropical fruits and butter. On the palate very ripe fruits. Mango. Broad and very smooth. The oak has integrated nicely. Drinking it beside Burgundy wines this wine is less elegant and has more sweetness, but overall this certainly is beautiful wine.
