Friday, June 14, 2013 - this bottle relly sang today. color of a nice dark rather opaque purple. nose jumps from glass with ripe red fruit, no heat but a fullness to the nose. exotic incense and some semi sweet licorice. the mouthfeel is terrific. first a nice coating of lush red fruit. then red fruits, flower petals, bright spiciness (not too earthy or dull) and sweet round tannins make for a near perfect mid palate. the finish tapers a bit but still nice and long with just a touch of heat to finish.
