Saturday, October 22, 2011 - Austrian Riesling 2010; 9/14/2011-12/31/2011: Exuberantly fruity wine on the nose, with sweet red apples, peaches and pears. A nice lightness of touch on the palate, and good balance between fruit and acidity, with a persistent, gently fading finish. Very pale gold in colour. Exceptionally nice wine to drink now, but does it have the stuffing for the long haul?
