Tuesday, July 24, 2018 - What a gorgeous wine - not the best of the 2000s decade but still very good. The nose is black fruit, pomegranate and earth with a little tobacco leaf. Soft tannins, lush mouthfeel. Tending more to the softer Right Bank flavors - that surprised me. Earthy but with still prominent black and red fruit, balanced acidity. My last of the 04s.
