Tuesday, August 9, 2016 - Dark red, rather modern approach. Berries, cedar wood some spice in the nose. Impressive mouthfeel. Serve a bit chilled, too much warmth brings up some alcohol. Still lots of (very fine) tannins. Clearly on the young side. Decant it for an hour or two - or wait a few years. Has enough stuffing for 10 years or so. On the other side - with 2 hours of decanting it's a great experience now with easily one or two points more. As always with Chianti it is very food friendly.
