Saturday, January 5, 2013 - Originally tasted at the Winery in October 2012. Ordered a half bottle off the wine list at the Gramercy Tavern in NYC yesterday. White wine doesn't get much better than this. Straw color. Nose of pear, quince, and pepper. Full palate of pear, quince, tropical fruit, pepper, and minerals. Superb length. Mouthwatering acidity. Wonderful with food. Who says Gruner can't be profound?
