Monday, July 1, 2013 - Ruby color with clear rim. Nose: red plum, bottled red cherry, and red currant with accents of red rose, anise, sumac, mushroom, and sandalwood. Medium body on the palate: red/black plum, bottled red/black cherry, and pomegranate framed by sumac, anise, black tea, pink peppercorn, and cola. Medium acidity. Lighter tannins. Lingering plum/cherry skin, cola, and pink peppercorn on the moderate finish. Pretty fruit, soft texture, straightforward. Approachable and tasty. Drink now.
