Upon opening the bottle the aromas of cherries and fruit were very evident, the color of the wine was a dark berry red and the initial taste on the palate was of cherries with secondary flavors of cola, root beer, and pepper. The wine has good legs, a nice jaminess to it as well as a strong finish and good viscosity. Not a very expensive wine but definitely exceeds its price point. A very good value.
