Sunday, July 29, 2012 - I did not have high expectations for this but it really exceeded my preconceived notions of this wine. Upon opening the bottle the aromas of cherries and fruit were very evident, the color of the wine was a dark berry red and the initial taste on the palate was of cherries with secondary flavors of cola, root beer, and pepper. The wine has good legs, a nice jaminess to it as well as a strong finish and good viscosity. Not a very expensive wine but definitely exceeds its price point. A very good value.
