Friday, June 23, 2017 - Winos' excellent adventure in France; 6/22/2017-6/27/2017 (All over France): The bottle from last November was flirting with perfection. Pop and pour, there is a hint of TCA. The sommelier is not quite sure. He thinks it may be very reductive. He leaves us for a few minutes and when he comes back, asks us to go outside. He thinks that the TCA note is not there. All of us agree that it is almost none existent. Nevertheless, the fruit is very shy and there is a hint of impure note. It is definitely slightly off and never really recovers. Not a good wine night.
