Thursday, June 9, 2016 - I think this is the perfect time to drink this vintage, not sure how it can get better then this. The wine has a beautiful brown tone to it, as such most aged wines. Very aromatic and the smell matches up with the taste perfectly. Very chocolaty with vanilla and tobacco and some plum. Its so silky smooth and the tannins have calmed down, but you will find a glimpse of them from time to time. I actually didn't expect the wine to develop into something this good. We had the same bottle 3 years ago and wow, has it ever evolved. It didn't take much decant time or need any for that matter. Pop the cork and enjoy.
