Wednesday, April 22, 2015 - 2 hr decant in cellar. Dark and opaque. Aromatics of dark fruit, blackberries, cassis, hints of cedar and something unique I can't put my finger on (meaty brown sugar? the best I can come up with). Powerful palate dominated by black currant, other black fruits with nice structure and the classic Napa Cab herbaceousness leading to long finish. Medium weight mouthfeel with tannins resolving, plenty of acidity to make food friendly. Solid QPR.
