Wednesday, June 5, 2013 - I've had freshly released Bordeaux that showed more development and less structure than this. This is absurdly young with a core of very fresh dark fruited flavours tinged with oak spice and earth, and a fair amount of tannin on the back end. The balance is excellent though, but I wonder just how long this really needs before the structure integrates and the flavours start to develop into something more mature and savoury.
