The palate is much more expressive, with a darker presence to its fruit than I usually find with the good level of pinot acidity that this has. Also features some good cola and italian spice notes for a solid wine. I'll check back in a couple months to see if some more rest was all this needed, as at $25 this would be about fair for price, despite being billed as a bargain to me. Good wine though.
