Friday, March 25, 2016 - A private dinner (Restaurant Becker's **, Trier, Germany): Rich and complex nose, freshness and slate, ripe peachy fruit, rose petals, honeyed depth; dry but juicy and beautifully balanced palate with almost electric acidity, ripe citrus fruit, grapefruit bitters, intense, wonderful slatey minerality; very good length. Fabulous. This is how GG should and can be done on the Saar.
