Saturday, March 16, 2024 - Rich nose of cassis, black pepper, and a bit of smoke, with baking spice. Black cherry/dark fruits on the nose and the palate, with nicely integrated soft tannins that still have enough structure. At this point the wine is very smooth, with a round, well-balanced finish. Incredibly smooth finish if you drink it straight, but aerate it and you'll find the acid hiding in the background. Very happy with where this is at.
